Business Robot is a private domain acquisition and sales firm working with companies across the United Kingdom. We are not a marketplace and we do not run auctions. We act for one side at a time, quietly, and we are judged on whether the name arrives without anybody noticing.
What we do
Two sides of the
same discipline
On the buying side we find the name a business needs, work out who owns it, and negotiate for it without revealing who is asking or why. On the selling side we place premium names with buyers we already know, at a price that is not anchored by a public listing.
Both sides depend on the same thing: nobody outside the transaction learning anything about it. That is the whole business, and it is why we do not publish client names, prices or case studies, however useful they would be to us.
How we differ from a marketplace
- Names are not listed publicly, so the price is not set in public either
- Your interest is never visible — no watchlists, no bid history, no traffic spike on the name
- One named person handles your instruction from first call to transfer
- We act for one party in a transaction, never both
- Fees are agreed in advance and paid on completion, not on listing

How we work
Four things we hold to, including the ones that occasionally cost us a fee.
Confidentiality first
If a step in a transaction would expose you, we will propose a slower route rather than a faster one, and explain the trade honestly.
Valuations we can defend
We price against private comparables, not the handful of headline sales the industry likes to quote. Sometimes that means telling you a name is not worth what you hoped.
Nothing published
No client logos, no announced deals, no press. Everything you read on this site is either general or explicitly a placeholder.
Paid on results
Valuations and exploratory conversations are free. Our fee arrives when the name does, and it is agreed in writing beforehand.

Practicalities
The dull but
important part
Every transaction settles through regulated third party escrow, or through solicitors where the sum or the structure calls for it. Funds reach a seller only once the transfer has been verified. Mutual non-disclosure is standard on both sides and we are happy to work to your own paperwork instead of ours.
